Alexander Ooms is Managing Partner at ClearCreek Partners, a financial advisory firm that works with entrepreneurs and CEO’s of private companies to help them raise institutional capital or pursue sell-side M&A transactions. The firm works across various stages, from pre-revenue companies looking for their first institutional investor to established firms with ample cash flow, and on transactions ranging from $2 to $25 million.
Mr. Ooms has over 15 years of transactional experience. His career includes several years of management consulting where he advised a wide range of corporate clients in the United States, Europe and Asia. He has held operating positions with Universal Music Group and Massive Media (a venture-backed technology start-up), and is a former vice-president of Finance at a large public company.
Mr. Ooms is also a pro bono Senior Fellow at the Donnell-Kay Foundation, and serves on several non-profit boards and as an appointed member of the Colorado Charter School Institute. He holds an MBA in Finance and Management Strategy from the Kellogg Graduate School at Northwestern University, an MA in English Literature from Georgetown University, a BA in Philosophy from Vassar College, as well as FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses. He lives in Denver with his wife, three children, and a big furry dog.
