Andrew McGregor is a Board Member of the Kravis Leadership Institute and is locally active as an investor and mentor for regional firms. In his career, he is best known for formulating new business strategies and using his leadership skills to build high performance international organizations. As President, COO and Managing Director, Mr. McGregor has worked for several billion dollar public and privately held companies such as Herman Miller Inc. and Knoll International. Under his leadership, these firms have been cited by Fortune Magazine as both “One of the Most Admired” and 100 Best Companies to Work For” as well as acknowledged for innovation through iconic development awards such as Best of the Decade by Time Magazine, and Best Consumer Products of the last 100 years by Fast Company.
Mr. McGregor now concentrates on organizations that are rapidly scaling, where he brings his experience in business strategy, organizational alignment, and change management, along with his is credentials in new product and services development, lean manufacturing, and marketing when useful.
Mr. McGregor received his undergraduate degree in Psychology and Pre-Med from the University of Texas at Austin, then followed with postgraduate work at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business. The McGregors have lived and worked around the world in cities such as Paris, London, New York, and Chicago. His wife, Lynn, now has a private practice in clinical psychotherapy and teaches at Denver University and his son is a recent graduate of Claremont McKenna College having majored in biophysics. Fun often includes fly fishing, open water diving or cooking as a family, and the occasional glass of white burgundy.
