With executive-level experience in both the private and public sectors, Anna is particularly inclined towards fostering partnerships and collaboration among diverse stakeholders. Currently Chief Operating Officer & Deputy Director of Colorado’s Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT), she oversees agency operations, human resources and finance functions and provides cross-divisional leadership on a wide variety of business development initiatives across Colorado.
Prior to venturing into state government in 2015, Anna enjoyed a dynamic corporate finance career, most recently as Chief Financial Officer of Vodafone Americas where her responsibilities included leading the organization through Vodafone’s disposal of its 45% interest in Verizon Wireless, a $130B deal. Prior to Vodafone, Anna held progressive strategic & financial positions in several industries, first in marketing & advertising with the Omnicom Group Inc. network and then in resort management with Intrawest; she has extensive experience in integration, developing and implementing strategic objectives, and leading teams to drive impact during periods of significant change.
Anna began her career at Price Waterhouse LLP after earning a BBA from Baylor University, and holds CPA and CGMA licenses. She serves on multiple business and economic development advisory boards and is passionate about her current non-profit board service including PawsCo, an animal welfare organization that she chairs, and CO-LABS, an organization focused on furthering the mission of Colorado’s federally funded research labs. Anna is a member of the Quarterly Forum, a prominent local leadership organization, and is actively engaged with the Denver Metro Chamber and its Leadership Foundation. A fourth generation native of Colorado, she’s a travel and adventure enthusiast and frequently enjoys the great outdoors.
