Brad is an experienced entrepreneur and venture capitalist. He is currently the Managing Partner of Hilltop Venture Partners (www.hilltopventurepartners.com). HVP is a Venture Capital firm that invests in and develops new service ventures and consumer product businesses.
Brad brings over twenty five years of progressive experience in launching and managing startup and corporate businesses. He has an extensive background in service businesses.
Brad began his career as a management consultant at Bain & Co. He had successful P&L responsibility in his Vice President roles in sales, marketing and operational functions at Polaroid and Time Warner Cable. Brad helped raise $600+ million in launching and successfully building WildBlue Communications (broadband), Loyalty Management Group (consumer promotions), and PrimeStar (satellite TV). In 2011, he founded and is currently Chairman of Education Funding Partners (www.edufundingpartners.com) which raises funds for public school districts nationwide through responsible corporate.
Brad currently is an Adjunct Professor in the University of Denver’s Daniels School of Business focused on teaching strategy and entrepreneurship programs in the Executive MBA program.
Brad serves on the Jewish Community Foundation Investment Committee, and is a former Board member of Oxfam America (where he had formerly worked), Food Bank of the Rockies and Cooking Matters. He was a 2000 Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute. Brad received the 2006 Share Our Strength National Community Leader Award. Brad was the co-chair of the Social Impact track for Denver Startup Week 2013, and created the 2014 marquee panel “Doing Well By Doing Good” companies.
Brad received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Princeton University and his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1990. He lives with his wife and 3 children in Denver, Colorado.
