Courtney Merage

Courtney Merage is a fellow at the Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network, where she contributes to research, development, and engagement initiatives. She is a law student at University of Colorado Law School, developing a career as a transactional attorney focused on tech, art, and entrepreneurship as they all relate to the law. Her goal is to support innovators of all kinds to more powerfully create and share their work, in addition to being a more effective producer of her own creative and entrepreneurial work. She is focused on intellectual property, business, entertainment, and tech law, and how social justice and legal ethics support these areas. 

Courtney is the President of the Silicon Flatirons Student Group at Colorado Law, a student organization that fosters education and networking in tech, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Before law school, Courtney was involved in the independent film industry. She graduated from the University of Denver where she majored in International Business and minored in both Film Studies and Production and Leadership Studies with the Pioneer Leadership Program.
