Ed currently serves as Chairman of the Colorado Clean Tech Industry Association and has a 25- year career successfully driving accelerated growth and profitability for both Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial start-up technology businesses in software, energy storage, and advanced materials.

Recently, as CEO for SiILion, Inc., an energy storage technology company, he directed the accelerated growth strategies for rapid product commercialization, technology scaling, and equity capital, orchestrating a successful exit through acquisition by a global technology company. One of the rare venture-level investment return success stories in energy storage technology.

Previously CEO at Novinda Corporation, Ed drove the turnaround of this advanced materials company, rapidly putting them into a leadership position as one of the top four companies in their industry, raising $18M in capital, obtaining market consideration by 95% of their target market, and increasing their shareholder value by 10x.

Prior to Novinda Corporation as CEO for Firefly Energy, another energy storage technology company, Ed took a Caterpillar Inc. laboratory stage technology through an accelerated growth path bringing an award winning product into the market and raising $60M in capital, while cutting the development time in half, and launching the first product with a $21M revenue backlog.

Earlier in his career, as an eight-year senior executive at Apple, Mr. Williams was a proven turnaround specialist bringing five different regions and business units to exceptional growth and profitability, culminating with an $830M business unit that for two successive years delivered the highest growth in their U.S. markets.

Mr. Williams holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Economics and an MBA in Finance and Marketing. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and a guest lecturer at the University of Colorado undergraduate and graduate business schools.
