Ken is a co-founder and partner of Centennial Peaks Capital, LLC. Prior to forming Centennial, Ken gained extensive operational and strategic experience in a number of senior-level positions (including CFO, SVP, and President) and acquired a diverse background in M&A and corporate development. Ken’s deal experience at Western Union, First Data Corporation, and IHS has been from multiple perspectives and with varied leadership responsibility and involvement (executive sponsor, strategic advisor, deal manager) on deals ranging from $1M to $1B, including buy and sell sides and tuck-ins and strategic adjacencies. Most recently, Ken worked abroad on various expatriate assignments and was responsible for managing, providing strategic direction, and integrating the CFO functions of a new global segment for Western Union formed by two acquisitions offering payment, foreign exchange, and risk management solutions. In providing value to BEN network companies, Ken is able to draw on experience across functions, industries (including financial services, data, and technology), geographies (lived outside the U.S. and managed global teams), and work environments (ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to mid-sized private organizations to publicly traded Fortune 500 companies). With past roles that include divisional CFO with a business partnering focus and segment President with P&L responsibility, Ken brings a thorough understanding of strategic planning, capital budgeting, organizational structures, go-to-market channels, revenue models, economic valuations, and risk management. Ken holds BA and MA degrees in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
