Laura is a strategic business development and operations focused leader with an exceptional record of establishing controls and structure for rapidly expanding, unorganized businesses while maintaining aggressive growth. As a strategic leader with daily interaction with the OtterBox CEO and Board, she has provided P&L management and strategic planning for multiple projects with sales up to $2.7 billion, and started up a new R&D department to support future growth. Operationally, she has over 15 years in operations leadership with a focus on cross-functional balance – driving significant investments in new production methods and IT/internal systems; demonstrating an exceptional understanding of all stages of real estate development process; and directing the integration of two acquisitions.  Of tremendous further value is Laura's global market intelligence gained starting up sales/distribution infrastructure in Latin America, and negotiating terms and establishing full compliance for a supply chain in Asia; her strong connections with local governments, industry leaders, businesses and communities, internal staff, vendors, suppliers, and clients; her ability to build world class client service skills; and her trusted, profitable partnerships with the leading tech hardware OEMs and all major carriers.

For the past four years, Laura has held senior leadership roles at Otterbox, the leading manufacturer and distributor of premier protective solutions for technology.  As General Manager/Americas, she headed up Sales & Marketing: growing revenue over 1800% and brand awareness from 15% to 60%+ through social media, PR, and grass roots point of sale activation; Engineering: cutting “Time To Market” by 50% and starting up a structured R&D department; Supply Chain: expanding a China based supply chain to a global supply chain operating on three continents, and expanding distribution center capacity 8X; Information Technology: building IT infrastructure to support a mid to large size enterprise; and Business Systems: achieving cross-organizational efficiencies, which enabled exponential growth.  Laura most recently served as Vice President/Managing Director Latin America with full P&L accountability developing and implementing go to market and brand expansion strategies in alignment with the Company's international expansion initiative.

Previously, Laura was the Director of Internal Operations at McStain Enterprises, Inc., the award winning, nationally recognized “green” homebuilder.  In this role she provided strategic direction to drive the company’s sustainability and environmental initiatives; directed Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Estimating; developed strategic sourcing partnership and alliances; and created integrated quality control programs.

Earlier in her career, Laura was the Operations Manager at Arvida/JMB Partners, a $600 million homebuilder/developer; and served as the Community Liaison Officer at the US Department of State, United States Embassy in the Dominican Republic.

Laura graduated from the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.  She served on the Home Builders Association Board of Metro Denver (Flatirons Building Council, Chairman), and is Bilingual in Spanish and English.
