Melanie Whitcomb is a Communications Consultant at the Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network Colorado (BENCO). She is an Alumni of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Organization and Strategic Communication. Originally from California, Melanie transplanted to Colorado over a decade ago.
While attending the University of Colorado, Melanie competed for several years in the Daniels Fund Ethics Consortium Case competition; helping to take home the first place prize in 2014, alongside BEN Project Manager, Jake Lozow. Among other positions and internships throughout college, she held a role as a lead teacher with Hope Montessori Academy for over five years and now works as a Business Development Representative with BombBomb, in downtown Colorado Springs.
When not working Melanie enjoys photography and fitness (including adventuring across Colorado through its many fantastic hiking trails). As one of six children, she also enjoys spending time with her large family and traveling across the United States to see all of them.
