The event honored BEN co-founder Amy Stursberg, former Executive Director of the Blackstone Charitable Foundation and now CEO of the Stephen A. Schwarzman Foundation, with BEN Colorado’s annual Impact Award.

The entrepreneurial community came together to celebrate Amy’s extraordinary contributions, with heartfelt tributes from fellow co-founders, video messages from Brad Feld (Foundry Group) and Senator Michael Bennet, and a warm in-person recognition from Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser. In a highlight moment, it was announced that Brad Feld endowed a gift naming the annual honor the “Stursberg Impact Award”.

Colorado Rockies owner Dick Monfort welcomed attendees and shared stories from his own entrepreneurial journey, and BEN CEO & Executive Director Mick Freeman offered an inspiring update on BEN’s expanding impact and programs. It may have been too cold for baseball, but it was just right for an evening reflecting on the strength, generosity, and momentum of Colorado’s entrepreneurial community and the future we’re building together.
